Are you ready for the 35th annual
Festival of Trees – A Celebration of Giving?
What is the Festival of Trees? Simply said – it’s our favorite event of the year! This holiday themed fundraiser allows us to partner with the community to kick off the holiday season. Together, we continue to raise funds and awareness for our mission. To date, we have raised over $4 million!
What is Hiawatha Homes’ mission? We providing quality support services to individuals with disabilities at home and in their community. Learn more about the services we provide at https://hiawathahomes.org/about/hhi/.
What’s new this year? Well, like everyone else in the world, we are responding to the COVID-19 pandemic. Have no fear! It may not look the same as in years past, but the 2020 Festival of Trees planning committee (a.k.a. Santa’s elves) are hard at work creating another masterpiece that will celebrate the past, embrace the present, and dream of the future!
I want to learn more! Where should I look? As we count down to the event, we will be posting details in every way possible. Learn more, follow along and engage with us via this page, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
COVID-19: A Note from Hiawatha Homes Foundation
The Festival of Trees, a 35 year tradition in our local community, will look a little different this year. After weeks of discussion and scenario planning, the decision has been made to move forward with an off-site/virtual event. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event will not be held at the Mayo Civic Center in 2020, but rather disbursed throughout the community and presented online.
Our team is hard at work, and you must know – the energy and innovation is contagious! We will be sure to update this page as our planning unfolds. One thing is certain, we will uphold our tradition to kick off the holiday season with our community, and together we will raise funds in support of individuals with disabilities!
We are a community and we are in this together!
Please contact us with ideas, feedback, questions and suggestions. After all, this is your event!
