The Festival of Trees – A Celebration of giving is a special event to provide support to individuals with disabilities in Olmsted County, raise awareness about Hiawatha Homes, and engage the community in celebrating the holiday season.

Through this fundraiser, Hiawatha Homes Foundation has raised over $4 million to benefit individuals with disabilities in our community. This is made possible through the support of Underwriters, Designers, and dedicated volunteers who work year-round to organize this community fundraising event.

A Note from Hiawatha Homes Foundation

The Festival of Trees, a 35 year tradition in our local community, will look a little different this year. After weeks of discussion and scenario planning, the decision has been made to move forward with an off-site/virtual event. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event will not be held at the Mayo Civic Center in 2020, but rather disbursed throughout the community and presented online.

Our team is hard at work, and you must know – the energy and innovation is contagious!  We will be sure to update this page as our planning unfolds. One thing is certain, we will uphold our tradition to kick off the holiday season with our community, and together we will raise funds in support of individuals with disabilities!

We are a community and we are in this together!

Please contact us with ideas, feedback, questions and suggestions. After all, this is your event!
