Hiawatha Homes Foundation, a private, non-profit 501 c(3), exists to support Hiawatha Homes, Inc. by accepting charitable contributions. The Hiawatha Homes Foundation Board of Directors manages these gift funds and disburses them to meet the needs of people supported by Hiawatha Homes, Inc.
Hiawatha Homes Foundation also sponsors the annual Festival of Trees — A Celebration of Giving. This treasured event benefits the work of Hiawatha Homes. The success of each year’s Festival of Trees allows the Hiawatha Homes Foundation to give financial support to Hiawatha Homes, Inc that makes a significant difference in the lives of the people we support. By supporting the Hiawatha Homes Foundation, your contribution supports the services offered by Hiawatha Homes, Inc. and approximately 140 people in these programs. Your support is vital to the growth and quality of our work.
Ways of Giving
Cash
Gifts of cash and those made by check or credit card are an excellent way to give because these funds can be put to use immediately. Many employers will also match these funds, thus allowing your gift to accomplish even more.
Bequests
Give a gift through your will. You can name Hiawatha Homes Foundation as a direct beneficiary of specific assets, a portion of your estate, or the remainder of your estate after payment of other bequests.
There are many other ways to give, such as: life insurance, retirement plans, securities, other appreciated assets, gifts of personal property or real estate, and many more.
